Online Registration
Who can register online?
WNCC students are encouraged to try our online registration system to complete advising and registration. As soon as schedules are released, students can begin "preregistration" through the use of our Planning Schedule.
When can a student start online registration?
You may begin building your planning schedule as soon as course schedules are released for publication. This allows you to request your advisor's approval before registration begins.
What does the planning schedule do?
The planning schedule will help you to
- determine if you meet the qualifications for any particular course
- select possible co-requisite courses
- avoid time conflicts
Where is online advising and registration completed?
Log in to MyWNCC Portal to select courses, propose your schedule, receive your faculty advisor's approval, and complete registration online!
Your planning schedule can be accessed from any computer with Internet access.
How will I know if my selections have been approved?
Your approval status will display on your planning screen.
It will change from "P (pending)" to "A (approved)" when your advisor has processed your request. You do not need to check your email to find out if your course selection has been approved. All communication can be viewed on the Planning Schedule screen. You may log in at any time to check your approval status.
All messages are copied to your WNCC.edu email account for your convenience. Your WNCC.edu email account CAN easily be forwarded, if you would prefer to watch for WNCC messages in another email account.
REGISTRATION
Please remember this is a THREE-STEP process.
1. select your classes
2. receive your advisor's approval and advice.
Your advisor's approval does not hold space for you in the class, nor does it complete registration for you. You must complete registration for yourself as soon as possible after receiving approval.
3. then complete registration.
