First-Year & Transfers
Follow this checklist to get on your way, so you can start here!
First-Time Freshmen (Seniors in high school applying for 2013)
- Research WNCC and its academic programs
- Visit campus
- Apply for admission
- Apply for scholarships
- Complete the FAFSA (WNCC Code: 002560)
- Complete the housing contract (if applicable)
- Register for the Nelnet automatic payment plan
- Send your ACT/SAT score or complete the eCompass test
- Send your official high school or GED transcript
- Attend new student orientation
- Attend an academic advising, session, register for classes, and buy your books

Nontraditional Students (Out of high school or college for more than five years)
- Research WNCC and its academic programs
- Visit campus
- Apply for admission
- Apply for scholarships

- Register for the Nelnet automatic payment plan
- Send your official high school or GED transcript
- Complete the eCompass test
