Using a case study approach, students will gain insight on the traits and skills necessary to be good leaders. During this course, students will recognize the essential behaviors of business leaders and learn to set goals and priorities. In addition, students will evaluate conditions conducive to corporate growth and change, examine behaviors required to cultivate talent, and demonstate understanding of financial responsibilities facing leaders. - Budget & Finance

Budget and Finance will give you an introductory overview of financial terms and practices without requiring the student to become an accountant. Students will examine the methods of financing the assets of Cabela's and their current financial practices. Additional topics include financial statement analysis, cash flow reporting, working capital management, credit analysis, budgeting, and trend analysis. This course also provides an overview of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and how it affects the financial side of Cabela's as a publicly traded business. Offered online.

Explore the principles of managing talent in an organization through coaching, performance management, and integrating a complete compensation system. Offered online.
Courses begin May 14 and end July 10. To ensure adequate time to set up access rights for you to begin the course on time, the deadline to register is Thursday, May 11.
Tuition and fees for each course will depend upon where you live. Residents of Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota will pay $276 per 3-credit course, while residents of any other state will pay $318 per 3-credit course.
Cabela's has a tuition reimbursement program. Contact your HR manager to find out if you are eligible and how to file for tuition reimbursement prior to registering for the course.
