WNCC Adds New GED Staff Member in Bridgeport

Western Nebraska Community College is pleased to announce the hiring of Julia Morrow as the new Adult Education Instructor in Bridgeport.  

Classes begin after spring break, on March 18, and are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Bridgeport Public Library at 722 Main Street.  

According to the GED Testing Service, in 1973, only 28% of jobs required a college degree or professional certificate. Today, 62% of jobs require a college degree or professional certificate, and by 2020, 75% of jobs will require a college degree or professional certificate.    

WNCC Adult Education classes are ongoing and free.  For GED classes, there is a $20.00 registration fee. Nebraska residents, ages 18 or older, who have officially withdrawn from high school, are eligible and encouraged to attend. Please call 308.635.6770 for special enrollment requirements for 16 and 17 year olds.
