ESL Summer Institute
This two-week program allows non-native speakers to sharpen their English skills in preparation for academic coursework. A basic vocabulary and understanding of English language structure is helpful but not necessary. Activities and techniques will focus on language production. Students will receive 2.5 hours of classroom instruction in the morning and 1.5 hours of tutoring and discussion group each evening. On the last Friday, students will visit nearby areas of interest. This is a non-credit course. All students must provide sufficient funds to cover all expenses of the ESL program and their continued attendance at WNCC (if they wish to continue).
