CHOices is a permanent committee of students and representatives of the WNCC faculty and staff. Its purpose is to provide students with educational and prevention tools as well as non-alcoholic social functions.

The committee was formed in 1989 under the title SAAC (Substance Abuse Awareness Committee) and was changed to CHOices (Choosing Healthy Options in Community, Environment and Self) in January 1997 to more accurately describe its focus.
