Financial Aid and Student Costs

New Financial Literacy Program

Western Nebraska Community College recently launched a CashCourse Financial Literacy program because WNCC believes that financial literacy is an essential life skill for the 21st century. This is something that is especially important for college students who, on campus and off campus, will have more financial choices and opportunities to be made than any generation before.

WNCC's CashCourse website contains comprehensive, non-commercial information designed to help our students make the best and most informed financial decisions possible.

The WNCC Financial Aid Office is committed to helping students understand the intricacies of financial aid and providing them with as many funding opportunities as possible.

We recognize that every student's situation is unique and we strive to help you meet your financial needs and attain your educational goals.

Western Nebraska Community College students received more than $8 million in aid during the current academic year, including:

  • More than $4.1 million in federal and state grants
  • Nearly $1.7 million in scholarships
  • More than $175,000 in earnings from work study jobs and other campus employment.

You may be eligible for aid, but you must apply to find out!
