Math Center

The WNCC Math Center is an auxiliary to math classes at WNCC. The Math Center tutors are in no way to be considered a replacement for classroom instruction. When possible, we are here to assist students who are having difficulty with math assignments--hopefully providing technical and moral support.

The Math Center is to be pleasant and conducive to the study of various math disciplines and is staffed with certified tutors who have degrees in mathematics and peer tutors who are students currently enrolled at WNCC.

The Math Center is in A2 in the main building on the Scottsbluff Campus.

Appointments are not necessary for students in need of tutoring services.

The Math Center has computer access for online classes, MyMathLab (requires enrollment in a class that utilizes MyMathLab), Derive (a math computational program), matlab (programming), math videos, and many auxiliary textbooks from which additional information can be obtained. But the mainstay of the Math Center is one-on-one tutoring.
