As soon as you begin classes or employment at WNCC, you should activate your WNCC.net WebMail account. 

Faculty and others associated with the college may be trying to communicate with you through this email account--the address is printed on every class roster! 

(Accounts are automatically created for students enrolled in online courses.)

How to Activate your WNCC.net WebMail Account

  1. Read the User Rules & Guidelines
  2. Locate your WNCC username and password information
  3. Log in to MyWNCC Portal. Select "Activate Accounts" from the link in the left hand side. - You MUST complete this step if are new to WNCC WebMail!
  4. Go to WNCC WebMail
  5. If you prefer to use your own email account, please activate/forward your WNCC.net WebMail to that account, so you do not miss important messages.

    Email sent to faculty/staff from outside email addresses could end up being filtered and might accidently be overlooked. 

    Since your WNCC WebMail address is listed on all class rosters, your instructors can more easily recognize that your incoming message is from a student. 

    Your WNCC WebMail email address will look something like this example: jones256@wncc.net

    WNCC Students have additional online services available, including online registration, online courses and wireless access points within the building.
