Mobile Veterans Center in Scottsbluff and Alliance Dec 3-4

November 30, 2012

Western Nebraska Community College and TRIO Veterans Upward Bound hosts the Mobile Veterans Center December 3 at the WNCC Scottsbluff Campus, outside of the Clark N. Williams Multicultural Learning Center. On December 4, the center receives veterans in Alliance at the American Legion. Veterans of all ages are welcome to visit with case managers/social workers and have real-time access to their medical records. Services are also available for family members with military-related issues.

The mobile center is open on December 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Scottsbluff Campus. At the American Legion Post 7, located at 1504 W. 3rd Street in Alliance, the center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on December 4.
"The VA Mobile Clinic makes it convenient for area veterans to access and enroll in VA medical programs for which they qualify. It provides a good source of information for additional VA services and resources," said Ce Merrigan, TRIO program director at WNCC. "Veterans have the opportunity to discuss medical and other needs and how those needs can be addressed."
No appointment is necessary to visit to the mobile center. For more information, contact Chris Wolf at 308.635.6042.
