WNCC Seeking Local Artists to Display Artwork

June 28, 2012

SCOTTSBLUFF, NE - Western Nebraska Community College is seeking local artists to display their art, at no cost, in the John N. Harms Advanced Technology Center.

All types of artwork are welcome, including paintings, weavings, tapestries, watercolors, acrylic, digital, oil, collage, and photography - anything that can be hung on a wall. Artwork displayed may also be available for purchase.

"Since 2005, when the John N. Harms Advanced Technology Center opened, we have welcomed the opportunity to showcase our area artists by offering space in our facility to exhibit their work and honor their talent," says Judy Amoo, dean of economic and community education. "Hundreds of people come through the Harms Center each year and this type of exposure is quite beneficial for our local entrepreneurs."
